Helping with the Flowers

Last night, I had nothing to do, so decided to color this picture. I took the photo after I got home.

I can see Iris wanting to help us with gardening, seeing as she DOES have a soft spot for flowers. And is a plant.
I was inspired to draw this after seeing the way Metroid-Tamer drew Iris' leaves in . It reminded me that I've never drawn a realistic Iris (aside from her first picture, which was semi-realistic). I always draw her hair/leaves very cartoony, with just a outline shape, not showing how they look in detail.
I would do this more often, but it's murder on my wrist. But the long portion of her leaves is not just a giant single leaf, they are long individual leaves with curled leaves.

This one kinda goes with , but I will admit that my linework is more clean and careful on Iris, whereas on Jace I left guidelines and excess sketch lines. But both backgrounds were taken in our front yard (I refuse to use images from Google xD). I also tried a little harder to bring realism to Iris' leaves. With holes and scars in her leaves, and other textures. Wasn't quite sure how to do her shirt, and jumped between it being made with petals or cloth. Originally, her shirt is made of petals, but I'm kinda beside myself on it. So I'm kinda leaving that up to viewers.
