Restless Rain

EDIT: Added the veins in Iris' leaves so they don't look awkward compared to Jace's. That was bugging me.

Is it funny that it is currently storming here, and that it was partially storming while I was drawing this last night?

Original concept sketch-> SoT concept: Restless Rain.
Whew… Wow, I am so happy to post this! Now I can scrap the sketch. You wont believe how hard it was to actually get that BG to look right. And there was so much readjusting to the rain, and readjusting and re-shading on the characters. I was up till 4:40 working on this last night (or this morning I should say.). I spent so much time trying to add little details. (DARN IT, I just realized I forgot to add the veins in Iris' leaves! Ugh, I'll need to go fix that later today)

I think the reason I wanted to color this now was because I wanted to see if I could properly draw rain without needing some kind of… Rain Texture? I've honestly never been able to draw storms right without needing a set rain texture from Ulead Photo Express or some other program. An example of this was on Lost In Termina chapter 12's cover art (ugh, I STILL need to go back and edit more of Lost In Termina).  I didn't draw the rain falling, it was a texture XD and I primarily drew with MS Paint and Ulead (I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.). I'm so happy I have Paint Tool SAI now!

So, now that this is done, I'm gonna go get some need-to's done and get back to y'all later. Hope you guys enjoy!
